Learning outcomes
PLO 4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in difficult and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting. PLO 13. To explain accessibly and reasonably the essence of specific philological questions, one's own point of view on them and its justification both to specialists and to the general public, in particular to students. PLO 25. To develop and improve programs of educational disciplines in Persian and/or English, educational and methodical materials. PLO 26. To conduct training sessions, provide consultations to students on academic disciplines in Persian and/or English, as well as provide individual student support (mentoring) during studies, using modern innovative methods and technologies of higher education.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know: the theoretical foundations of teaching philological disciplines that make up the major of the master's degree: goals, content, approaches, methods and methodical techniques, means, forms of organization of the learning process; forms, methods and means of diagnosing students' success. 2. To be able to: effectively build the process of teaching philological disciplines that make up the master's major in institutions of higher education in accordance with the tasks and conditions of study; use modern methods, technologies for teaching philological disciplines, technologies for diagnosing students' knowledge, skills, and abilities; analyze EMC from relevant disciplines with the aim of their rational use; select language/literary material, techniques, means of teaching disciplines from the profession; draw up lesson plans-summaries, organize, conduct and analyze lessons.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline (assistant practice) is to develop the master's students' ability and willingness to plan, organize, implement and manage the learning process of philological disciplines in institutions of higher education; formation of master's students' readiness to work as a teacher of English in a higher education institution.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Participation in an instructional conference on assistant practice. Acquaintance with the practice base. Study of educational documentation. Acquaintance with the groups in which practice will be held. Compilation of psychological characteristics of groups. Attending teacher's classes. Preparation, conducting and analysis of classes. Participation in the organization of students' extracurricular work. Preparation of reporting documentation. Participation in the final conference on pedagogical practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
The summarized evaluation of the results of the practical activity (min. 60 / max. 100 points). Students have to conduct practical classes in a foreign language for 3 weeks in the amount of at least 10 academic hours per week and 2 credit classes; to prepare credit documentation including the development of plans-summaries of credit classes; to defence reporting documentation and participate in the discussion of the results of assistant practice.
