Learning outcomes
PRN 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state, Polish, English and Lithuanian languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PRN 10. Know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities. PRN 11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state, Polish, English and Lithuanian languages. PRN 12. Analyze linguistic units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that cause them. PRN 14. To use Polish, English and Lithuanian languages in oral and written form, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The comprehensive attestation exam in English and Lithuanian languages involves checking and assessing the formation of students of higher education at the first (bachelor) level of specialty 035 "Philology" (035.033 "Slavic languages and literatures (including translation), first - Polish)" OPP "Polish language" and literature, English and Lithuanian languages" of subject-specialist, communicative, socio-cultural, professional competences, and aims to determine whether graduates have knowledge of the theoretical foundations of modern linguistic English and Lithuanian studies; the level of formation of general and professional competences, consisting in the possession of practical skills and skills in using English and Lithuanian languages; the ability to implement the acquired knowledge and skills in the future professional activity.
Course content
The comprehensive attestation exam in English and Lithuanian languages involves checking the level of language proficiency at the phonetic level, which assesses the level of compliance of oral speech with the phonetic standards of the British version of English and standard modern Lithuanian language. At the morphological level, the skills and abilities to select the appropriate morphological units for the organization of English and Lithuanian oral speech are assessed. At the lexical level, the ability to select appropriate English and Lithuanian lexemes for the organization of oral communication and the skills of their appropriate and correct use are assessed. Vocabulary, knowledge of linguistic terminology and term systems of related scientific fields in English and Lithuanian (literary studies, folkloristics, etc.), as well as skills and abilities to use them in situations of professional communication, are also assessed. At the syntactic level, the skill and ability to correctly form minimal communicative units - simple and complex sentences with compliance with the rules of agreement of tenses and temporal determinants - is assessed. At the text level, the ability to correctly compose English- and Lithuanian-language texts with respect for textual coherence and cohesion is assessed.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The comprehensive attestation exam in English and Lithuanian languages consists of three tasks from each language. Task 1. Oral abstracting of English and Lithuanian texts of a social nature. Task 3. Conversation in English and Lithuanian on the proposed topic. Task 2. Linguistic analysis of English and Lithuanian texts.
Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum number of points for tasks 1 and 2 is 30 (15 points for each language). The maximum number of points for 3 tasks is 40 (20 points for each language). The final score for the answers on the final exam consists of points for all the tasks of the examination ticket. The maximum number of points for the comprehensive attestation exam, which can be obtained by the student, is 100.
