Learning outcomes
PLO 16. Know and understand the basic theories and concepts of the chosen philological specialization, be able to apply them in professional activities. PLO 18. Have the skills to manage complex actions or projects when solving complex problems in professional activities in the field of the chosen philological specialization and bear responsibility for decision-making in unpredictable conditions. PLO 21. Know and understand the social significance of the future profession, predict the prospects for the development of the professional field in a specific philological domain. PLO 22.2. To know and understand the psychological, pedagogical, and methodological principles of developing German language communicative competence using modern educational technologies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the course "Practical Course of German Language" (in semesters 1-4), studying the courses "Theoretical Phonetics" (in semester 4); comprehensive discipline "Classical and Modern Linguistics: Part 1 "Latin Language" (semester 1), Part 2 "Introduction to Linguistics" (semester 2), "German-speaking Countries Linguistics" (semester 3).
Course content
The academic discipline "Modern Pedagogical Technologies (German Language)" is an elective professionally-oriented discipline aimed at mastering modern pedagogical technologies and skills for their implementation in the process of teaching German language in general educational institutions. Its goals include the development of students' creative activity and the need for innovative pedagogical practices. The teaching and assessment are conducted in German and Ukrainian languages. The discipline consists of one thematic module and one module control work, and it concludes with a final exam. The discipline familiarizes students with a wide range of innovative teaching technologies for German language instruction, theoretical and methodological principles of their design and implementation, and deepens knowledge of procedural aspects of organizing the educational process in teaching German language in general educational institutions. It also develops conceptual and terminological knowledge and skills.

Lectures, practical classes, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 1. Oral response (expressing opinions on a topic), contributions during questioning/discussions. 2. Completion of practical tasks. 3. Presentation. 4. Preparation and defense of a project. 5. Module control work (testing). The final assessment is a credit.
