Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Successful mastering of the courses History of Pedagogy and General Pedagogy.
2) Possession of skills and abilities to form basic regulators of activity and behavior in educational institutions.
Course content
The purpose of the course is to provide students with systematic knowledge, to form complex competencies, needs of professional and pedagogical development, to assist in mastering the mechanisms of obtaining the elements of pedagogical skills and components of internal and external pedagogical techniques. The course reveals essence of the concepts "pedagogical skill", "pedagogical technique", "pedagogical communication", "professional-pedagogical competence"; it outlines the ways of acquiring competencies; it states the range of knowledge and skills necessary for successful activity in professionally-defining situations. Considerable attention is paid to the styles and methods of communication between teachers and pupils, the implementation of independent and creative writing, preparation of multimedia presentations.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities consist of oral presentations, participation in the discussion, presentation of self-study tasks, analysis, doing practical tasks, tests tasks, solving pedagogical problems, modular test paper, final test paper.
Teaching methods include lecture, seminar, preparation of analytical materials, speeches, presentations, preparation of reports, solving practical problems, discussion of conflict situations, discussion of solutions to practical situations, modular test paper, final test paper.
Assessment methods and criteria
The score for the course is max 100 points. The credit results from the work during the semester and does not presuppose additional assessment activities.
Forms of the summative assessment include the total of marks for oral presentations, participation in the discussion, presentation of self-study tasks (min 12 / max 20 points), for analysis, assessment, doing practical tasks (min 12 / max 20 points), for presentations, speeches, test tasks, solving pedagogical problems (min 12 / max 20 points), for the modular test paper (min 12 / max points), and for final test paper (min 18 / max 30 points).
