Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Process information effectively: collect relevant information from a variety of sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and issues of professional activity. PLO 8. Know and understand the system of the Ancient Greek, Latin and a foreign language, the general properties of literature as the art of word, the history of the Ancient Greek and Latin languages, and literature, be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PLO 14. Use a foreign language in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (formal, informal, neutral), for solving communicative tasks in everyday, public, educational, professional and academic spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students must have a command of Classical and English languages at a level sufficient for teaching in secondary education institutions.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is the formation of students' methodological competence - knowledge, skills, ability and readiness to plan, organize, implement, reflect on the process of learning Classical languages in secondary education institutions, control and evaluate the educational achievements of students. The discipline is designed to ensure the formation of methodological competence - knowledge and skills, the ability and readiness to plan, organize, implement, reflect on the process of learning classical and English languages in secondary education institutions, control and evaluate the educational achievements of students, the application of technologies, approaches, methods, principles, tools learning classical and modern languages, the ability to solve problems related to the process of learning Classical and English languages in secondary education institutions; adapt to changes in the educational space.

Assessment methods and criteria
The semester grading is formed by the points received by the student in the process of assimilation of material from all topics of content parts and performance of independent tasks and individual creative works. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom and independent work. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam; the following learning outcomes are evaluated on the exam: 1.1-1.5. The exam is conducted in the form of a written work, the exam ticket consists of four tasks: 2 theoretical and practical on the methodology of teaching classical languages, 2 theoretical and practical on the methodology of teaching the English language, each of which is evaluated with a maximum of 10 points.
