Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic concepts of organic chemistry. 2. Be able to draw formulas of organic compounds. 3. Have basic skills in writing organic reactions. 4. Have basic knowledge of general chemistry. 5. Have an idea of the basics of organic chemistry within the course program "Organic Chemistry"
Course content
Aspects of the presence of amino acids, peptides and proteins in natural objects, their extraction, chemical and biosynthesis, structure, physical, chemical and individual biological properties and practical application are considered. In particular, much attention is paid to the properties of amino acids, analysis of chemical composition and amino acid sequence of peptides and proteins, establishing their spatial structure and consideration of the structure and functions of enzymes - the most important group of proteins. Consideration of the synthesis of peptides and proteins occupies a significant place.
