Prerequisites and co-requisites
Have basic knowledge and skills of analysis of electrical circuits in the course "Electricity and Monetism", be able to use Kirchhoff's laws;
have basic training in mathematical analysis, be able to solve differential equations.
Course content
The discipline considers theoretical material describing the physical foundations of electronic technology: semiconductor materials and semiconductor contact junctions. The structure and principle of operation of the main semiconductor devices: diodes, transistors are considered. On the basis of these devices the analysis of work of schemes of the main sources of secondary power supply, such as, rectifiers, smoothing filters, voltage stabilizers is carried out.
The general information and parameters of electronic amplifiers on the basis of which the analysis of work of schemes of amplifying stages on bipolar and field-effect transistors is carried out are resulted. The modes of operation of the amplifier stage and the feedback in the amplifiers are considered. General information about operational amplifiers is given and functional schemes on operational amplifiers are considered. The internal structure and circuitry of operational amplifiers are considered in detail.

Semester assessment:
1. Modular test 1: 5 points
2. Modular test 2: 5 points
3. Laboratory works (6 works): - 5 points for each
Final assessment in the form of an exam: - 60 points.
