Learning outcomes
To know the basic communicative formulas of Ukrainian within the studied topics;
To know the vocabulary within the studied communicative topics (capacities for
products, dishes, computer equipment, effective and procedural actions, holidays, hobbies, etc.). To possess of basic grammar knowledge of the Ukrainian within studied topics; to realize elementary communicative intentions in Ukrainian; to have a dialogue on mundane or professional topics with colleagues.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the discipline “Ukrainian”, which was taught during the 1st semester.
Course content
Notification regarding the presence and absence of a person or object. Notification on location of the object.
Notification regarding the exact date of the event. Names of units of weight, names of containers for products. Genitive cases of nouns, adjectives and possessive pronouns singular and plural. Negative constructions.
Generic case with spatial prepositions.
The genitive case with prepositions with, without, to.
Finding out plans for the future. Finding out the duration and the time of obtaining the result. Names of procedural and effective actions
Questions and stories about human activities and hobbies.
Object characteristics. Names of professions, hobbies, names of dishes and drinks. The instrumental case of nouns, adjectives and pronouns in the singular and plural, instrumental case with the preposition c, y.
Notification of the age of the person. Modal verbs.
The Dative case of nouns, adjectives and pronouns singular and plural, constructions of necessity. Dative case to indicate the number of years.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. The test is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and not provides additional assessment activities for successful students. Conducted in written and oral form.
For students who have scored less than 60 points in total, it is necessary to write a material on the topics on which the debt arose, in the form of writing modular tests, oral answers and performing independent written assignments.
