Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: basic principles of the theory of international relations, basics of communication theory, basics of mass communication theory, basics of psychology. Be able to: determine the purpose and object of communication, choose the method of conveying information and receiving feedback Have basic skills: working with a computer, preparing presentations, literacy, formulation and logical presentation of one's own opinion
Course content
Module 1. Theoretical principles of public relations. Topic 1. Application of PR in modern practice. Topic 2. Development of a PR project. Topic 3. Publicity and public opinion in PR. Topic 4. Special PR-events and work with the media. Module 2. Specifics of international public relations. Topic 5. PR-communications of leading actors in international relations. Topic 6. PR-work with world media

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of assessment: the level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of student work in seminars, the quality of preparation of written independent, tests, case studies, presentations and individual presentations. Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge and skills: activity and quality of speeches, reports at seminars, participation in discussions, quality of prepared presentations, activity during the discussion of case studies and subject discussions (for 1st and 2nd module) - up to 15 points (lower level of positive assessment - 8 points). Modular test work from the 1st module - up to 15 points (lower level of positive assessment - 8 points). Modular test work from the 2nd module - up to 15 points (lower level of positive assessment - 8 points). Execution of individual written work (1 work) - up to 15 points (lower level of positive assessment - 8 points). Written works are accepted in due time.
