            The student must:
Know: key sociological, socio-psychological, and socio-pedagogical categories (social group, socialization, institutionalization, social mobility, social deviation, inclusion, social integration, etc.), basic theories of social systems, history of the welfare state, development of social pedagogy.
Be able to: analyze the content of key concepts of social work and social pedagogy, generalize and correlate different conceptual approaches to the study of social phenomena, apply theoretical models in practice.
Have the skills of public communication, activity planning, performance evaluation.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The purpose of the discipline is to form students' knowledge of the content of social activities aimed at supporting youth as a special social group, as well as solving youth problems; development of their ideas about the actors of youth policy, their role in the formation and implementation of youth policy; mastering by students the skills of analysis of the current state and forecasting the prospects of youth policy development, as well as the development of students' ability to be actively involved in policy-making processes.
The discipline contains three content modules. In the first module, students are invited to explore youth as a target group for youth policy. The second module reveals the conceptual approaches to understanding the concept of youth policy, analyzes the factors that have the influence of its implementation, studies the world experience and the implementation of youth policy. The third module is devoted to the analysis of the youth policy model in Ukraine.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Assessment of students is carried out during all types of classes and for the results of independent work.
The minimum number of scores that can be scored per semester and required for admission to the exam – 36 scores, the maximum number of scores that a student can score for work during the semester – 60 scores (of which: survey, discussions – 20 scores (2-4 scores each); independent work (creative research, practical tasks) – 12 scores; modular tests – 18 scores; self-assessment – 10 scores).
Final assessment – exam (maximum – 40 scores, minimum – 24 scores).
Grading scheme:
-	Excellent (90-100 scores)
-	Good (75-89 scores)
-	Satisfactory (60-74 scores)
