Learning outcomes
LO4. To show in-depth knowledge and systematic understanding of theoretical concepts, both in the field of social work and in other fields of socio-humanities. LO6. To find independently and autonomously the information necessary for professional growth, master it, acquire and produce new knowledge, develop professional skills and qualities. LO13. To demonstrate initiative, independence, originality, generate new ideas for solving professional problems.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of the course OK.02 "Professional and corporate ethics";
2) knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the structure of the psyche, factors and basic mechanisms of personality formation;
3) understanding the criteria for the effectiveness of pedagogical activity, the essence of the main regulators of activity and behavior in a group and the possibilities of using it in working with an academic group and individual students.
Course content
The main categories of pedagogy of higher education, its principles, methods and technologies are revealed. Acquisition of knowledge on the organization of education and upbringing in higher education, the formation of an understanding of the content of pedagogical activity and pedagogical skills, the criteria for its effectiveness, the acquisition of knowledge on the organization of education in higher education, the formation of competencies for the qualification "teacher", the development of pedagogical thinking and the promotion of professional self-determination. The principles of organizing the impact on the personality in the process of its upbringing, education and training are revealed.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Activities: oral presentations, participation in the discussion, presentation of independent tasks, analysis, practical tasks, control tasks, solving pedagogical problems, modular test work.
Methods: lecture, seminar, preparation of analytical materials, speeches, presentations, preparation of reports, solving practical problems, discussion of conflict situations, discussion of solutions to practical situations, modular test work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Performing practical tasks, presentations, solutions of pedagogical problems.
10 - fully owns the material, freely and argumentatively teaches it, 9-8 - sufficiently, freely teaches it, may lack argumentation, 7-6 - generally owns but doesn’t demonstrate the depth of knowledge, doesn’t rely on educational literature, materials, 1 - 5 - demonstrates the level of knowledge-acquaintances.
Evaluation and analysis of the results of educational and independent activities
5 - deeply and comprehensively reveals the content, uses required and additional literature, demonstrates the independence, reliability of the study; 4 - demonstrates the independence and reliability of the work performed; insignificant inaccuracies are allowed; 3 - demonstrates activity in performing tasks; contains significant inaccuracies; 2-1 points - does not fully possess the material, lack of independence in performing tasks.
Test: 1 point for each correct answer.
Credit: min. 24, max. 40 points.
