Learning outcomes
Know the approaches and methods of analysis of international conflicts, methods of constructing predictive models for determining the behavioral strategies of conflict participants in the context of IR forecasting. Know the current trends in the development of methodology for studying international conflicts. Understand the specifics of building an informal model of conflict in specific situations. Be able to formalize the tasks of research of conflict situations in IR with the use of structural methods of analysis. Be able to form a "morphological box"; system of operational indicators of conflict potential. Be able to form forecast trends, formulate partial short- and medium-term forecasts based on structural methods of analysis. Be able to develop conclusions and recommendations for rational behavior in conflict languages and find a compromise solution.
