possession knowledge, abilities and skills provided for by the standard of secondary education discipline "History of Ukraine", "Ukrainian language and literature", "World history", "World Literature". That is, 1. Before starting this course, students should be familiar with the basics of periodization of the history of the development of civilization and culture, to know the basics cultural concepts and categories (at the level of a general education graduate educational institutions of I - III degrees); 2. To be able to work with authentic sources, scientific and commenting literature, apply modern information and communication technologies in training, use information technologies for the presentation of results own training, have basic teamwork skills - academic group.

Educational program "Ukrainian and foreign culture" was created on the basis of the scientific school of the Ukrainian department of philosophy and culture of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Kyiv National University Taras Shevchenko University and was carried out within the framework of a complex scientific programs of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University "Modernization of the social development of Ukraine in the conditions of world processes globalization", research topic of the Faculty of Philosophy of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University 19BF041-01 "Philosophy and socio-political research in Soviet Ukraine in the second half of the 20th century century". The educational discipline "Ukrainian and foreign culture" is a component programs for training specialists with higher education at the "bachelor's" educational level of all of fields of knowledge and specialties of the Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko and belongs to the group of compulsory educational disciplines for ensuring the general competencies of graduates of an educational degree "Bachelor" (Rector's Order No. 1094-32 dated December 30, 2014 http://nmc.univ.kiev.ua/doc.htm). Studying the course involves mastering a number of higher education students general competencies sufficient to achieve the goal and main tasks of this program, as well as sufficient to fulfill the professional duties of the chosen one specialty Formation of special competencies within the educational framework the course "Ukrainian and foreign culture" is not expected. Program competences are classified into such groups as: philosophical cultural, research, communicative, managerial, ethical competences.
