            Learning outcomes
        
        
            Know the history of international law, peculiarities of sources and subjects of international law, the peculiarities of principles of international law, the basic treaties, international organizations and international judicial and arbitration institutions; 
Be able to find out the basic tendencies and patterns of development of international legal regulation of international relations, to apply the prognostic function to the prospects of international law, to analyze texts of treaties, acts of European Union, acts of national legislation of Ukraine and decisions of international judicial institutions concerning general issues of international law; 
Master the skills of public speaking on a wide range of international law issues, communication during persuasion and proving one's position on issues of international legal regulation of international relations;

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            Knowledge of the basics of Theory of State and Law, History of Political and Legal Doctrine, Philosophy, Comparative Constitutional Law; ability to analyze and establish the content of rights and obligations of international law subjects, apply the rules and principles of law, study out the content of legal documents; have the basic skills of legal analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of legal material while providing one’s own conclusions and proposals; proficiency in English.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 24 points), written assignment (up to 12 points), final modular test (up to 18 points); Moot Court/Case-Study/Speech (up to 6 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
