Learning outcomes
Know the conceptual foundations of systems analysis for the management of targeted systems; methods of solving and applying methods of system analysis; operations and methods of set theory; methods for solving matrix calculations, systems of linear equations. Be able to apply methods of systems analysis for management decisions; use set theory to analyze international relations; conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to substantiate strategies based on systems of linear equations. Make responsible informed decisions based on the results of quantitative analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- know the basic concepts and methods of systems analysis, linear algebra and discrete mathematics; - be able to apply methods of solving systems analysis, linear algebra and discrete mathematics; - have the skills to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Course content
CONTENT MODULE I (MR1). Topic 1. Principles of systems approach and systems analysis in international relations. Topic 2. Sets, relations, functions. Topic 3. Matrices as a form of defining relations in international relations. CONTENT MODULE II (MEDIA). Topic 4. Matrices. Matrix determinant Topic 5. Systems of linear algebraic equations and methods of their solution.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers, additions, surveys: up to 15 points. 2. Execution of individual independent works: up to 20 points. 3. Modular test (test): up to 25 points. 4. Nodal questions, typical and complex tasks that require a creative answer and the ability to synthesize the acquired knowledge and apply them in solving practical problems are submitted for the exam: up to 40 points
