Course content
The comprehensive final exam in the specialty is an exam aimed at testing professional knowledge of Greek philology and is designed to determine the level of proficiency in the Greek language and knowledge of the history and theory of foreign literature by specialists who receive a bachelor's degree. The purpose of the comprehensive exam is to establish the actual compliance of the graduate's level of educational and qualification training with the requirements of the educational and qualification characteristics of the specialty (field of study).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The comprehensive final exam in the specialty consists of four stages, which are reflected in the relevant tasks in the exam paper. Task 1 involves an oral response to a given literary topic/problem, which includes the analysis and interpretation of works of art. Task 2 involves the elaboration of a theoretical issue related to the Modern Greek language. Task 3 involves a written linguistic and stylistic analysis of an English-language text of 250 words and a translation of 1 paragraph. Task 4 involves an oral interview on current social, sociopolitical, and various cultural topics.
Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of knowledge revealed at four consecutive stages is carried out in accordance with the criteria for evaluating students' answers at the comprehensive final exam in the specialty: Bachelor's degree. The question on the history of foreign literature is worth a maximum of 20 points. Theoretical question on the New Greek language - 30 points. Written linguistic and stylistic analysis and translation - maximum 30 points. Oral interview - maximum 30 points.
