Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of disciplines "Chinese language: intermediate level", "Fundamentals of translation practice", "Theoretical grammar of the first Eastern language", "Practice of translation", "General course of Western European language", "Fundamentals of linguistics: synchronism", "Fundamentals of linguistics: diachronism", etc. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of perclading, linguistics and grammar of modern Chinese 3. Knowledge of sentence syntactic analysis skills, knowledge of translation transformations in bilateral translation from Chinese and Chinese. 4. The ability to correctly build syntactic sentence structures translated from Chinese into Ukrainian and English.
Course content
Formation of scientific ideas in the field of Chinese syntax, the system of parts of speech and sentence members, features and varieties of simple and complex sentences in Chinese modern syntax. Mastering effective and key ways of translating Chinese text into English and Ukrainian, taking into account traditional linguistic, grammatical, syntactic features of the structure of languages, and national and cultural peculiarities of the thinking of their speakers. The discipline "Theoretical aspects of Chinese language syntax" is one of the components of the comprehensive training of the specialty "Philology (Oriental Languages and Literatures)" under the program "Chinese Language and Literature and Translation, English", selective block "Chinese Studies: Linguistics and Translation".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides for the following forms of training organization: lecture and seminar classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: the answer to the seminar lesson, control work in the form of a test and a course project. Detailed planned educational events and teaching methods are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. Semester number of points are formed by points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 100 points, in the minimum dimension of 60 points. The discipline ends with a credit, which is exhibited based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures. Evaluation criteria are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
