Prerequisites and co-requisites
To successfully complete the course, students must first master the following courses: "Foreign language (English)", "Theory of English translation", etc.; possess at a level not lower than B2, as well as know the theory of translation, be able to practically apply modern translation methods, possess elementary skills: application of theoretical knowledge from the theory of translation.
Course content
The purpose of translation full-time internship (English language) is to consolidate the knowledge gained in the classes on the theory and practice of translation, practical application of modern translation methods.Abstract. Translation full-time internship is a complex process designed to ensure that students acquire professional translation skills to work as a foreign language translator. Translation practice contributes to the development of professional self-awareness, the culture of communication, the formation of theoretical, practical, and personal-motivational components of students' professional competence. In addition, during its course, students continue to develop translation skills and their own creative translation style. The discipline ends with a differentiated assessment. The form of practice is full-time / on-line.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The following components of practice are provided: active practice (work as an English translator) and preparation of credit documentation (preparation of the translation and commentary on it, protection of reporting documentation, participation in the discussion of practice results). A student can score a maximum of 100 points and a minimum of 60 points for performing the prescribed types of work. The criteria for evaluating types of works are presented in detail in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
Assessment methods and criteria
The overall assessment consists of the points received for all types of work performed during the internship, as well as the compilation and protection of credit documentation (maximum – 100 points, minimum – 60 points).
