            Requirements for choosing an academic discipline.
1. Before starting the course, students should know the main doctrinal positions of the world's religions and the basic theoretical positions of the sociology of religion.
2. To be able to apply an interdisciplinary approach to the study of religious phenomena; to know the basics of religious methodology and terminology; to be able to work with scientific and theological literature and critically interpret it; collect and interpret sources relating to various phenomena of religious life; to analyze the essence, properties and characteristics of the phenomena of religious life.
3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources;
the ability to use information and communication technologies.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The discipline "Religion and Globalization" belongs to the list of mandatory disciplines and is taught in the II semester of the master's level of education.
The educational discipline introduces students to the main manifestations of globalization processes and the involvement of religions in them (taking into account religious teaching features, ethical doctrines, social teachings, as well as the institutional dimension of the functioning of religion).

            The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (oral presentations, additions and participation in discussions at seminars) and for independent work (preparation of a presentation and independent research). All types of work for the semester have as a result:
 in the maximum measure of 60 points
 at least 36 points
In case of absence from the seminar, the student must complete the seminar assignment in writing.
