            PLO2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it.
PLO8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of the Crimean Tatar language and literature, and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities.
PLO13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folklore, determine their specificity and place in the literary process.
PLO15. Carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres.

            The course "Oral Folklore of Turkic Peoples" is a compulsory academic discipline that provides for the training of teachers and translators of the Crimean Tatar language, stimulation of the methodological activities of bachelors, and improvement of the level of professional education. Successful completion of the course requires mastery of such disciplines as "Crimean Tatar Language: Basic Level" and "Introduction to Special Philology." 
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The aim of the discipline is to familiarize students with the history of the Turkic oral and written literary process, folklore genres and specifics of the sources that form the basis of the Turkic written language.
The discipline is theoretical and practical in nature and contributes to the practical formation of future teachers of Turkic studies, which is necessary in their future professional activities. 
This course helps to form a holistic view of the origin of Turkic folklore, introduces the first written sources; varieties of oral and fiction literature, folk tales, legends, destans, and artistic (written) works.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 45% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 55% of the total grade. 
Assessment of semester work:
1. Work at seminars (oral response, work with text corpora, essays, reports): 10 - 30 points. 
2. Creative and research tasks: 20 - 30 points. 
3. Module test №1: 8 - 10 points. 
4. Final control work: 14 - 20 points.
