Learning outcomes
To understand the methodological principles of organization of statistical observations, in particular, sampling, systematization and generalization of statistical data; tasks of statistics in a market economy; scientific principles of modern organization of national and foreign statistical services, categories and concepts of statistics; economic essence of statistical indicators; logical substantiation and algorithm of calculation of statistical indicators, consolidated indices and rating estimates of different analytical function; methods of analysis of patterns of distribution, estimation of variation, differentiation and concentration of phenomena and processes;

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of economic theory, macro- and microeconomics, international economic relations, business economics, international business, computer science, mathematics, etc .; ability to analyze the relationship of economic phenomena and processes, institutions at the macro and micro levels; understand the essence and importance of information in the development of modern information society; mastery of the methodology of economic and mathematical analysis, basic skills of modeling, writing analytical reports, reviews and forecasts; computer skills as a means of information management and information in global computer networks; skills of using modern standard methods of data processing (which are implemented in the Microsoft Exsel spreadsheet processor, etc.) and information presentation; skills of independent work

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: oral answers (up to 7.5 points), additions (up to 3.5 points), solving exercises (up to 9 points), blitz survey (up to 4 points), individual tasks on the "Workbook" (up to 20 points), modular test 1 (up to 8 points), modular test (up to 8 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is written. The student's answer to the exam is estimated at a maximum of 40 points.
