Successful mastering of the disciplines "Medical Chemistry", "Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics", "Epidemiology", "Immunology", "Virology with virological diagnosis", "Infectious diseases with evaluation of research results", "Clinical Chemistry". 2. Ability to apply knowledge and skills acquired during the mastery of clinical chemistry, immunology, clinical laboratory diagnostics, know the basics of modern methods of laboratory research, search and analysis of scientific literature. Possession of basic principles of laboratory research methods.
Course content
The subject of study of the discipline "Methods of research of the immune system" are the theoretical foundations of the basic methods used to study the immune system in normal and under conditions of various diseases. The course covers laboratory methods for assessing immune status, serological methods for determining antigens and antibodies, as well as methods of immunochemical analysis (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, Western blot, immunoelectrophoresis, immunodiffusion, immunofluorescence methods, immunohistochemistry). Methods of analysis of cellular immunity (flow cytofluorimetry, methods of peripheral blood cell division, methods of assessment of proliferative activity of immune cells, cellular cytotoxicity, phagocytosis) and humoral immunity are analyzed in detail.
