Learning outcomes
To carry out preparation of a workplace and for carrying out laboratory researches, to provide preparation for research of samples of various origin and their storage. Determine the qualitative and quantitative composition of substances and their mixtures. Demonstrate the use of knowledge about morphological changes of tissues and organs for the diagnosis of pathological conditions, identify erroneous results and take measures to correct them. Understand the physical and chemical principles of staining and apply appropriate methods in laboratory research. Verify the results of laboratory tests for the diagnosis of oncopathology, pediatrics, surgical diseases, in the clinic of internal medicine. Perform general, hematological research, interpret the results taking into account normal and critical values, limitations of the research method, clinical and other laboratory parameters, detection of implausible results. Apply modern data approaches to assessing human health

Course content
This discipline acquaints the student with modern methods of hematological and general clinical research, as well as research aimed at elucidating the functional state of the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, kidneys, muscle and connective tissues, nervous system, as well as diagnostically important laboratory syndromes and symptoms. It promotes the acquisition of practical skills by students and provides students with modern biochemical, physicochemical, molecular and biological methods of clinical and laboratory studies of samples of biomaterials to identify changes in their endogenous and exogenous components that reflect the functional state of organs, tissues and systems. lesions with predicted pathology.
