Learning outcomes
Present the results of research in the field of horticulture to specialists and non-specialists.
Develop projects for landscaping, gardening and landscape architecture; develop restoration and reconstruction projects
landscaping, cultural heritage; design conservatories in the interiors of office and residential buildings, landscaping roofs, greenhouses and
greenhouse complexes.
Organize educational and cognitive activities of students.
Organize and carry out educational environmental activities among the population.
Organize and plan research work in the field of horticulture, natural and cultural landscapes.
Collect, process, analyze and systematize scientific and technical information on research topics, put forward and test scientific hypotheses,
choose the best methods, techniques and tools of research, draw and argue conclusions based on research results.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successfully master the courses "Plant Physiology", "Plant Biochemistry", "Chemistry with the basics of agrochemistry", "Soil Science and Soil Microbiology", "Urban Ecology and Phytomelioration".
2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology of plants, agrochemistry, soil science, urban ecology, phytomelioration and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature.
3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biological and chemical laboratories
Course content
The discipline "Climate-forming ability of plants in urban landscapes" is a selective discipline, which forms a comprehensive view of the thermoregulatory, water-absorbing, water-retaining, evapotranspiration ability of plant communities.
