Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines "Plant Biology", "Plant Biochemistry", "Biometry", "Landscape Phytoecology", "Selection of ornamental plants with the basics of genetics." 2. Ability to apply knowledge of botany, biochemistry, etc. academic disciplines for mastering new methods, solving phytophysiological issues; work with scientific literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of working in a training laboratory and elementary skills of studying physiological processes in a plant organism.
Course content
Scientific ideas about the plant organism as a complex self-regulating system, with a hierarchy of different structural levels - from subcellular to the whole plant, and the structural and functional organization of plant systems of different levels are considered. Modern methods and directions of plant physiology are presented. The issues of plant ecology are covered.
