Learning outcomes
To know: basic theories of economic integration in the context of the formation of trade flows;
forms and types of international economic competition, their features in the framework of regional integration processes;
criteria and indicators of regional integration and trends (integration and disintegration);
the economic benefits and losses of involvement in regional integration;
the rationship between regional integration and economic development;
political and economic goals of regional integration;
key performance indicators of key regional integration associations;
To be able: toanalyze the competitive advantages of regional trade agreements and megaregional preferential agreements;
to analyze the structure of regional and preferential trade agreements;
to analyze trade flows within regional trade organizations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The discipline "Trade Aspects of International Integration Agreements" is based on and works closely with the cycle of disciplines of theoretical, professional and practical training, in particular: "World Economy", "IEA Theory", "Economics of European Integration", "Fundamentals of International Macroeconomics", economic relations ". A student must have general knowledge: knowledge of the basics of microeconomics, macroeconomics and international economic relations, be able to assess, analyze and summarize the main indicators of the functioning of regional trade agreements. In addition, a student must have the necessary qualifications to conduct a comparative statistical analysis of processes and phenomena occurring in individual countries and regions in the context of integration processes.
