Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successfully master the scientific-theoretical and practical material of the complex of educational disciplines of the educational level "Bachelor".
2. Know the theoretical foundations of immunology, microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology and basic methods of biological research.
3. Be able to work with information databases in particular scientific and methodological literature.
4. Be able to use laboratory equipment in research.
5. Possess methods of analytical evaluation of the results of biological research to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
Course content
The basic basic discipline "Vaccinology" is a component of the educational program of professional training of specialists of educational level "Bachelor". This is a basic discipline that highlights the patterns of formation of anti-infective immunity and immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases among the population. It acquaints students with the basic principles of immunological diagnosis of human infectious diseases, providing an opportunity to master the principles of planning and conducting research to solve applied problems, statistical data processing, explanation and generalization of results.
