Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state, Polish, English and Lithuanian languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 10. Know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state, Polish, English and Lithuanian languages. PLO 14. To use Polish, English and Lithuanian languages orally and in writing, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication, to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres life. PLO 22.2. To know the culturally determined factors that shape the relationship between communicators in the conditions of various communicative situations for adequate reproduction in translation from Polish and Lithuanian languages.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the course requires knowledge of general linguistic terminology and terminology; knowledge of the basics of modern Lithuanian grammar; mastery of basic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills at the level provided by the program of the 1st and 2nd year of study.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of students' Lithuanian-language communicative competence as a set of knowledge, abilities and skills that ensure effective intercultural communication in oral and written forms; study of the patterns of emergence, functioning and development of the Lithuanian language. The educational discipline "Lithuanian language" is one of the key components of the comprehensive training of a specialist at the educational qualification level "bachelor". The discipline includes practical lessons from the theoretical grammar course of the Lithuanian language. Learning the Lithuanian language takes place on the basis of the main provisions of the communicative approach to learning a foreign language using authentic materials and modeling real communicative situations. The principle of communicativeness is defined as the primacy of communicative goals within the four types of speech activity relative to the secondaryness of language-thematic material as the basis for the further formation of the ability to communicate. teach to identify the main linguistic units and their properties; familiarize with the units of all levels of the Lithuanian language in accordance with the topics, spheres and situations of communication provided by the program; develop receptive and productive speech skills; to form the ability to use the Lithuanian language for obtaining and transmitting information, as well as the ability to interact with a communication partner in various situational contexts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answer, additions, blitz-polls, current test tasks, presentation, performance of post-text exercises, test tasks, language method of control (questions, answers, logical sequence), ехаm. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student during the semester. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (oral answers, tests) and for independent work. A student can get a minimum of 60 points per semester, 40 points on the exam, and a maximum of 100 points.
