Learning outcomes
Determine and identify the leading clinical symptoms and syndromes (in list 1); by standard methods, using the preliminary data of the patient's anamnesis, the data of the patient's examination, knowledge about the person, his / her organs and systems, to establish the most probable nosological or syndromic preliminary clinical diagnosis of the disease (in list 2). Assign and analyse additional (mandatory and optional) examinationmethods (laboratory, radiological, functional and / or instrumental) on list 4, patients with organ and systemic diseases for differential diagnosis of diseases (list 2). Establish a definitive clinical diagnosis by making an informed decision and logical analysis of the received subjective and objective data of clinical, additional examination, conducting differential diagnostics, in accordance with the relevant ethical and legal norms, under supervision of the doctor-supervisor in the conditions of medical institution.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1.Successful mastering of fundamental academic disciplines. 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of medical biology, medical and biological physics, medical informatics, medical chemistry, biological and bioorganic chemistry, human anatomy, histology, cytology and embryology, physiology, microbiology, virology and immunology, life safety; basics of bioethics and biosafety, pathomorphology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, propaedeutics of internal medicine, etc. disciplines for solving specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
1)To acquire knowledge of a normal ECG. 2)To master the skills of ECG registration in the generally accepted 12 leads, its analysis. 3)To write the protocol of the ECG conclusion and clinical interpretation of the obtained data. 4)To master knowledge of ECG changes in violations of the function of automatism, excitability and conductivity. 5)To study the ECG signs of hypertrophy of the heart, ECG changes in various clinical forms of coronary heart disease, electrolyte, metabolic changes and syndromes of preexcitation of the ventricles. 6)To be acquainted with visual aids, including tables and a set of ECGs on the topic of the lesson, with the organization of the work of the functional diagnostics room of the departmentof a basic medical institution.
