Learning outcomes
PLO 1: To use the Ukrainian language as the state language in all spheres of public life, in particular in professional communication and for the organization of effective intercultural communication. PLO 2. Effectively work with information: select the necessary information from various sources, critically analyze and interpret it, arrange, classify and systematize it. PLO 4. Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental principles of human existence, nature, and society. PLO 6. Apply philological knowledge to solve professional tasks. PLO 9. Course content
The comprehensive final exam in translation from the first foreign language aims to check and evaluate students' language, communication, country studies (socio-cultural) and translation competence, their knowledge of the basics of translation theory and the ability to implement this knowledge in the process of translating a written text and in oral recitation in a foreign language in the language of the Ukrainian social and political text, since these types of work form the basis of the future professional activity of students. The comprehensive final exam on translation from the first foreign language takes place in written and oral form and involves testing students' knowledge and skills in written and consecutive translation of a foreign text into Ukrainian, paraphrasing a Ukrainian text in a foreign language, and hold a conversation on the proposed topic in the first foreign language. According to the structure of the exam ticket, each type of task is evaluated by a clearly defined number of points, which in total is a maximum of 100 points.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The structure of the ticket reflects the complex nature of the exam and consists of three tasks. 1. Written translation from the first foreign language into Ukrainian of a special/culturally marked text (900 - 1000 printed characters). 2. Consecutive translation from the first foreign language into Ukrainian of the socio-political text (up to 800 printed characters). 3. Reference in the first foreign language of the Ukrainian socio-political text (up to 800 printed characters) and an interview on the proposed topic.
Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation criteria. The maximum number of points that a graduate can score is 100. The maximum/minimum possible number of points for the first and second questions of the ticket: the maximum point is 35; the minimum score is 20. The maximum/minimum possible number of points for the third question: the maximum score is 30; the minimum score is 20.
