PLO 2. Effectively work with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting the course, students must have basic factual knowledge of a humanitarian nature, know thorough theoretical updates on the chosen topic and problem-based presentation of theoretical material.
Be able to study and generalize scientific sources, folklore materials; use methods of evaluating ethnocultural information; solve practical tasks, draw conclusions, make suggestions.
Possess the skills of preparation, organization and conduct of folkloristic research corresponding to the first (bachelor's) level.

Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to give methodical recommendations that reproduce modern requirements for the completion of the final qualification work.
Abstract. The educational discipline is a scientific and methodical support of the scientific work of bachelors and is aimed at familiarization with the rules of writing and design of final qualification papers. Its subject is the method of conducting research, writing, design of obtained scientific results and defense of bachelor's theses, determination of the effectiveness of the execution of bachelor's work and the procedure for its presentation. The main tasks of the discipline: development of skills and formation of skills that allow the future specialist-folklorist to carry out analytical and research activities.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course includes 2 content parts. The first part of the course - "Methodical recommendations for the implementation of the main sections of the final qualification (bachelor's) work. The main requirements for the registration and scope of the RKR". The second part of the course is "Requirements for the language and style of the bachelor thesis". Forms of education: lectures, seminars, scientific seminar, independent work. Throughout the semester, after the lectures on the relevant topics, seminar classes are held, which are evaluated according to the types of work (oral answer, addition, presentation of independent work at a scientific seminar, blitz survey, participation in discussions at lectures and seminar classes, intermediate control test, test).
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge) - 40% of the total assessment, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills, communication, autonomy and responsibility - 60% of the overall assessment .
Evaluation of the semester work: oral answer, additions, participation in the discussion during the lecture, creative and research tasks (a scientific project on one of the actual problems of the methodology of writing the WKR, the approval of the WKR) - 48/80 points. Among them: oral answer, additions, participation in discussions at lectures and seminars, blitz survey, intermediate control test: 36/56 points. Scientific seminar - presentation of a scientific project on one of the actual problems of the methodology of writing the BKR, approval of the bachelor's thesis: 12/24 b.
