Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before the beginning of the industrial practice, students must complete the educational disciplines NAD.09.Ukrainian folklore, NAD.10.Mythology, NAD.08. Ethnography of Ukraine, NAD.27. Complex discipline. Discursive folkloristics; to know methods of analysis and classification of folklore material, basic ritual practices, patterns of development of folklore phenomena. Be able to identify authentic and secondary folklore forms, work with various sources of educational and scientific information. Possess elementary skills of scientific analysis of folklore material; search and processing of educational and scientific information
Course content
Purpose of discipline – to actualize theoretical knowledge of folkloristic disciplines in the intern student through their practical application in the field of preserving and promoting the traditional folk culture of Ukrainians. And also contribute to the formation of the student as a conscious folklorist specialist. Annotation. Practice aims to form the student's knowledge of modern cultural institutions specializing in traditional culture, the methodology of their work; abilities and skills of scientific-methodical and organizational work in the field of traditional culture for scientific-research, reconstruction, organizational, creative and other types of competencies of a folklorist specialist. Practice is conducted in accordance with current curricula during six weeks of the sixth semester. Students specializing in the department of folkloristics undergo internship at the National Museum of Ivan Honchar Museum and the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Production practice consists of four stages: introductory, preparatory, production, final. 1 stage - familiarization during the orientation conference with the content and requirements for production practice, discussion of the individual plan; 2nd stage – visiting the practice base, drawing up a work plan with curators from the practice base; 3rd stage – studying the activities of the practice base, working with stock materials, developing one's own project; Stage 4 – preparation of reporting documentation, presentation of the project, protection of practice. After the end of industrial practice, students submit the following documents to the supervisor within the time specified by the order: 1. a production practice plan approved by the scientific supervisor; 2. certificate about the institution (practice base) in which the practice took place; 3. practice diary; 4. report on the conducted scientific analysis of the cultural artifact;
Assessment methods and criteria
Control over the progress and results of production practice is carried out as follows: 1. Analysis of production practice plans developed by the student together with practice supervisor and academic supervisor; 2. Visiting practice bases by the practice supervisor, analysis of scientific and analytical work, checking compliance with the schedule and aspects of its completion, consulting students during scientific research work and drawing up reports; 3. Verification of individual student reports; 4. Attending the final event; 5. Summing up the results of the practice, writing a general report by the head of the practice. Evaluation is carried out on a 100-point scale according to each stage of practice. 1st stage – max. 10 points, 2nd stage – max. 10 points, 3rd stage - max. 40 points, stage 4 - max. 40 points.
