Prerequisites and co-requisites
- successful completion of courses: Introduction to Slavic Philology, Introduction to Linguistics;
- knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general linguistics, the principles of systematization of grammar material and the lexical composition of Slavic languages;
- possession of basic skills of information search, accumulation, analysis and synthesis;
- the ability to systematize from the point of view of the norms of functioning and learn grammatical and lexical material corresponding to the initial level of functional operation in the Serbian language, which is studied as a second language.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to provide students with generalized, systematized introductory and initial knowledge of the grammar of the modern Serbian literary language, which would provide them with a solid foundation for professional fluency in spoken language, to develop comprehension and speaking skills.
The subject of the study discipline "Second Slavic language (Serbian)" at the initial stage (Communicative aspect) involves studying the basics of phonetics and accentuation, graphics and orthography, grammar and vocabulary of the modern Serbian language

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral response (oral recitation of the text), phonetic exercises, additions, participation in discussions at lectures and practical classes, blitz surveys, blitz tests - 25/45 points. 2. Final test - 11/15 points. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral abstracting of educational texts, oral answers, additions, blitz surveys, blitz tests) and independent work. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored 60 points, the minimum positive number of points, receive "enrolled".
