Learning outcomes
- to know the basics of the regulatory and legal regulation of the accounting system of museum collections - to know the stages of accounting of museum collections, types and forms of documentation - to know the current trends in the digitization of museum collections and electronic accounting - to know the standards of description of museum objects and electronic accounting databases lecture, practical - to know the regulations and instructions regarding the maintenance and storage of accounting and fund documentation, the documentation system and accounting methodology, the rules for accepting objects in the museum and their registration, the principles and forms of scientific inventory - to be able to work with the main types of documentation for materially responsible storage - to be able to carry out a scientific description and classification of museum objects - organization of accounting work of the fund department of the museum, compliance with accounting rules

Prerequisites and co-requisites
know the basic concepts and terms of the museum business; the basics of Ukrainian legislation in the field of culture and museum affairs; areas of activity and organizational the structure of museum institutions; the role of museum institutions in society; trends in the development of the museum industry in Ukraine and the world; to be able to apply the main terms and categories of museum work; collect, systematize and present information about the experience of modern functioning museum institutions; to have elementary skills of working with scientific and educational literature, source criticism, use of foreign language professional sources.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, practical classes, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (ZM1) includes topics 1 - 5, content module 2 (ZM2) - topics 6 - 8.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points received from all topics of two content modules (points received for modular control papers (in the form of tests); points received for completing individual tasks; points received for work in seminar classes, as well as points which are received for the final control work. The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are: • complete disclosure of the issue • the logic of presentation • use of basic and additional literature • analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
