Learning outcomes
Know the methodology and research methods of pedagogical phenomena and facts.
To know the subject and tasks of higher school pedagogy, as well as the system of higher education in Ukraine.
Know the didactics of the higher school, the learning process. the procedure for determining the content of higher education.
Know the forms of organization, methods of learning in higher education, and modern educational technologies.
Know the system of diagnosing students' knowledge and skills in a higher education institution.
To know the psychological and pedagogical foundations of the formation of the professional competence of a teacher of a higher educational institution.
To be able to master the methods and techniques of scientific and pedagogical research, storage, processing, and presentation of information.
Be able to master the skills of searching, selecting, processing, and systematizing information for various types of classes and educational activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the academic discipline:
1. know: basic categories of pedagogy, processes of formation and development of personality, social communities.
2. be able to: characterize individual philosophical theories; use special scientific literature for the purpose of analyzing research problems in humanitarian disciplines.
3. to have: communication and teamwork skills to solve creative and scientific tasks.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (ZM1) includes topics 1-6, content module 2 (ZM2) - topics 7-12.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student evaluation is carried out during all types of training sessions and based on the results of independent work. During classes, the following are evaluated: oral response, presentation, performance of practical tasks, and solutions to pedagogical tasks. Module tests are completed and assessed at the end of the module and include questions from across the course. The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100. The final score is assigned based on the results of the student's work during the semester and the exam.
The criteria for evaluating the student's answer during the seminar are:
• complete disclosure of the issue
• the logic of the presentation
• use of basic and additional literature
• analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
