1. To know the basics of social and political psychology.
2. To be able to make a psychological analysis and forecast of phenomena and processes related to political participation.
3. To have methods of organization, data processing and interpretation of the results of research on individual and group political consciousness, behavior and activity, interpersonal relations, and intergroup socio-political relations.
Course content
Studying the discipline introduces students to the psychological content of socio-political processes, political participation as a political-psychological phenomenon, provides an understanding of the leading mechanisms of the psychological genesis of individual, group and mass functioning of people in the political sphere.
Purpose: familiarization of students with psychological interpretations of political behavior, political activity and activities as defining political and psychological phenomena, disclosure of individual-personal and interpersonal parameters of political participation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars and practical classes.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment during the studying period: evaluation is carried out during the semester of all types of work. Additions and active participation in lectures are evaluated; the completed research project is presented at the seminar. The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a test. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. Form of conducting - written. Types of tasks - open questions, creative tasks; the answer to open question 1 - 33%; answer to open-ended question 2 - in 33%, creative task - in 34% of the total score. The minimum threshold level of the examination mark at which the examination is considered passed may not be less than 24 points. Conditions for admission to the test. A student is not allowed to take the exam if he / she scored less than 36 points during the semester.
