PLO3. Create logically and structurally organized texts on ethnocultural studies, according to the specialization. PLO14.Conduct a public discussion and maintain a dialogue on Ukrainian culture with specialists and non-specialists. PLO15. Communicate freely on professional issues orally and in writing in the state and foreign languages, taking into account the purpose of communication and the socio-cultural characteristics of its context.

The aim of the discipline is to acquire in-depth theoretical knowledge for further translation of ethnocultural texts; to be able to analyze and discuss cultural heritage, historical past, everyday life, habits and traditions in the countries of the Spanish-speaking area; to create presentations, reports in a foreign language, drawing an analogy between cultural events, peculiarities of their celebration and holding in Ukraine and Spain. The course is aimed at developing the following competencies: General: ability to communicate in a foreign language; Professional: ability to determine the degree of value and uniqueness of cultural objects in the Ukrainian and international contexts; ability to adhere to the standards of professional ethics and intercultural communication. Annotation. The volume of the discipline "Practical Course of Spanish" is 30 credits, and provides for the following forms of control - credit in the first, third and fifth semesters and exam in the second, fourth and sixth semesters. The subject of the discipline is Spanish. This discipline introduces students to the structure of the modern Spanish language, the peculiarities of its use at different language levels; gives a clear picture of the linguistic picture of the world of the indigenous peoples of Spain; based on the linguistic and country studies aspect of language learning, introduces the culture, traditions, and way of life of the population of Spain and Latin America.

During the semester, after lectures on the relevant topics, practical classes are held, where the assessment is carried out. Students who have scored a total of less than the critical-calculated minimum of 36 points are not allowed to take the exam. The semester final grade is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of completing the types and forms of study and obtained at the exam. The maximum distribution is based on the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam.

The maximum number of points during the semester is 60 points, and is based on the following forms of control: independent, creative works, presentations performed in the process of independent work - 10 points (5*2), two intermediate module tests on four aspects of language competence - 40 points (20*2), completion of tasks on theoretical grammar, writing independent works - 10 points (5*2). The semester study of the discipline ends with an exam in the sixth semester and is worth 40 points. The exam includes: Completion of written assignments - disclosure of a theoretical issue, completion of a grammar test that reflects the students' competence - 10 points; Translation and linguistic analysis of the text - 10 points. Vocabulary test - 10 points Disclosure of the oral topic (depends on the completeness of the answers) - 10 points. Students who score a total of less than the critical-calculated minimum of 36 points are not allowed to take the exam.
