Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful learning of academic disciplines "History of medicine", "Hygiene and ecology", "Sociology and medical sociology", "Medical Informatics". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge on the history of medicine, hygiene and ecology, medical informatics and other academic disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Basic skills of system analysis.
Course content
"Social medicine, public health with the basics of evidence-based medicine" is a mandatory discipline, which provides for the acquisition of: biostatistics (definition and analysis of the main biostatistical indicators and criteria on the principles of evidence-based medicine); statistics of public health based on the analysis of a set of medical indicators: demographic, morbidity, disability, physical development; health organization, that is, the activities of the system to ensure the preservation, strengthening and restoration of public health, including the organization of medical care and public health system; economic foundations of the health care system based on the study of the organizational and legal basis of health institutions in market conditions, economic analysis and methods of evaluation of financial and economic activities in the field of health
