Identify and identify leading clinical symptoms and syndromes; according to standard methods, using preliminary data of the patient's anamnesis, data of the patient's examination, knowledge about the person, his organs and systems, to establish the most probable nosological or syndromic preliminary clinical diagnosis of the disease. Collect information about the general condition of the patient, assess the psychomotor and physical development of the patient, the state of organs and systems of the body, based on the results of laboratory and instrumental studies to assess information about the diagnosis. Assign and analyze additional (required and for choice) methods of examination (laboratory, radiological, functional and / or instrumental), patients with diseases of organs and systems of the body for the differential diagnosis of diseases.

Successful mastering of the disciplines "Medical Biology", "Medical and Biological Physics", "Human Anatomy", "Physiology", "Biological and Bioorganic Chemistry", "Medical Chemistry", "Histology, Cytology and Embryology", "Microbiology, Virology and immunology". Ability to independently apply knowledge of medical biology, medical and biological physics, human anatomy, physiology, biological and bioorganic chemistry, medical chemistry, etc. disciplines for solving specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.

The discipline "Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine" is part of the training cycle of specialists of the educational level "Master" in the educational program "Medicine". "Propaedeutics of internal medicine" is a mandatory discipline that studies the methods and techniques of clinical examination of the patient, features of professional communication between doctor and patient, subjective and objective manifestations of diseases (symptoms and syndromes), causes and mechanisms of their occurrence and development (semiology) diagnosis. The study of the discipline takes place in two logical stages - mastering the basic methods of physical, instrumental and laboratory examination of the patient, after which students master the basic symptoms and syndromes of the most common diseases of internal organs and the rules of diagnosis.
