Learning outcomes
PR4. Solve complex problems in the field of biology, generate and evaluate ideas. PR6. Analyze biological phenomena and processes at the molecular, cellular, organismal, population-species and biosphere levels in terms of fundamental general scientific knowledge, as well as the use of special modern research methods. PR7. Describe and analyze the principles of structural and functional organization, mechanisms of regulation and adaptation of organisms to the influence of various factors. PR10. Present the results of scientific work in writing (in the form of a report, scientific publications, etc.) and orally (in the form of reports and defense of the report) using modern technologies, argue their position in the scientific discussion. PR 20. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of natural sciences to form an idea of the laws of individual and historical development of biological systems at different levels of the organization.

Course content
The discipline is a basic cytological discipline that covers the issues of patterns of morpho-functional changes of organs, cell groups and cells immune system in changing the physiological status of the organism, at different stages of its development, normal and in pathology, which is the subject of research by a wide range of cytologists and cell biologists, and outlines a range of research methods and techniques that can be used in experiments in related sciences and in the framework of interdisciplinary projects that require in-depth knowledge of the discipline. The discipline is designed to generalize the idea of the systemic organization of living things and the role of naturally organized cellular groups of the immune system in the formation, development and plasticity of immune responses as part of the homeostasis system.
