PR 19. Solve scientific-theoretical, research and applied problems of biology by appropriate methods.

1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "General Cytology", "Molecular Biology", "Genetics", "Immunology". 2. Be able to work independently with scientific and scientific-methodical literature; successfully apply previously acquired knowledge in molecular biology and other disciplines. 3. Have basic skills in working with equipment used in biological laboratories.
Course content
The discipline "Mechanisms of Oncogenesis" is a component of the cycle of professional training of specialists of the educational level "Master" in the educational program "Biology" (specialization "Cytology and Histology"). The discipline is a basic cytological discipline that covers issues of precancerous changes in tissues and organs, basic theories of tumor development, causes of cell malignancy, structure and mechanisms of carcinogens, molecular mechanisms of antitumor protection of the organism and causes of dysfunction.
