Learning outcomes
1.1. Know the theoretical foundations of research on religious and migration processes in large cities;
1.2. Know the principles, social conditions and mechanisms of religiosity and migration;
2.1. Be able to work with social information, sociological research data on various aspects of functioning of large cities;
2.2. Be able to identify, analyze and interpret current social problems related to religious diversity and migration;
2.3. Be able to interpret data and visual presentation of results in international and national reports on religious conflicts and integration of migrants;
3.1. Communicate the results of independent research work.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basics of sociology, social structure and stratification, methodology and methods of sociological research, statistical methods of analyzing sociological data and
justification of conclusions.
To be able to work with sociological data, read professional sociological publications and formulate ideas, discuss, present and discuss one's own position on a chosen topical problem.
To have basic skills of searching and selecting information, using sociological analysis.
Course content
1. Theoretical foundations of the study of religious and migration processes in large cities.
2. Traditional and new methods of research on religious and migration processes in large cities.
3. International experience of analyzing the phenomena of religiosity and migration.
4. The effectiveness of the social policy of large cities in relation to representatives of various religious denominations and migrants.
5 Public opinion on religiosity and migration.
