Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Biochemistry", "Fundamentals of Biotechnology", "Equipment of production in the industry", "Processes and apparatus of biotechnological production", "Fundamentals of the organization of modern biotechnology laboratory". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of biochemistry, biotechnology, etc. disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in structural units of biotechnological institutions of the relevant profile.
Course content
Discipline "Fundamentals of design, economics and organization of biotechnological production" covers theoretical and practical aspects of modern approaches to the design of biotechnological processes and objects of varying complexity, basics of economic procedures in biotechnological technology development and production of certain biotechnological products and principles of general biotechnological production. The discipline helps to form in future biotechnologists a holistic view of the functioning of biotechnological production in terms of creating competitive biotechnological products in today's market.
