1. To know the main approaches of foreign and domestic scientists and practitioners to the understanding of professional ethics in social work;
2. Operate with ethical criteria for evaluating the technology/practice of social work;
3. Determine the ethical aspects of intervention in specific situations of work with clients;
Course content
The purpose of teaching the discipline is the formation of future social workers, a holistic view of the ethical problems of social work, and the development of their ability to analyze the ethical aspects of the activities of social workers. The course topics involve consideration of ethical principles and norms of professional activity. The modern foreign and domestic practice of ethical regulation of professional activity in socio-economic professions. Ethical norms in the professional activity of a social worker. Personal and professional relations of a social worker.

Lecture, seminar, practical class, individual work
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods: recitations (speeches at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additional remarks), analytical reports, creative independent work, final test.
Form of final control - credit.
Organization of evaluation: Evaluation is carried out during the semester for all types of work. The maximum number of points for work during a semester is 100.
The credit is granted based on the results of the student's work during the semester.
Students who scored totally less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical minimum of 36 points shall pass the test. The test is estimated at a maximum of 40 points.
Students who scored during the semester lower points than the critical-calculated minimum - 36 points are not allowed to take the test.
Rating scale:
0-59 - not credited;
60-100 - credited.
