Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
successful mastering of the disciplines of the natural cycle, in particular geology, soil science, hydrology, meteorology, etc. for professional training and mastering of modern soil research methods.
Course content
Educational practice in soil science, according to the OP "Geodesy and land management" and the curriculum, is conducted after the first course of theoretical training in the discipline "Geology and soil science (Module 1-Geology, Module 2-Soil science)" and is a discipline aimed at consolidating general, professional competencies and program learning outcomes obtained by the applicants based on the results of theoretical training. Educational practice in soil science has the main task of consolidating and applying in practice the theoretical knowledge obtained at the university, on the basis of familiarizing students with the properties and peculiarities of various types of natural soil bodies.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
During practice, students should develop skills solving theoretical and applied issues within the scope of their professional activities in the field of geodesy and land management on the example of a specific territory - the outskirts of the city of Kyiv and the characteristics of the soil cover of the key areas studied (the distribution of different genetic types of soils, their profile structure and properties, peculiarities natural and economic use, etc.).
Assessment methods and criteria
1. After the end of the practice period, students report on the completion of the program and individual assignment. The student's form of reporting on the internship is a written report. 2. The report must contain information on the student's performance of all sections of the practice program and individual assignment, sections on occupational health and safety, conclusions and proposals, a list of used literature, etc. A report is drawn up according to the requirements established by the internship program. The practice report is defended by the students within the appointed time. The grade for practice is entered in the student's credit and examination information and credit book under the signature of the practice manager. Evaluation by forms of control: The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
