The student must know the current level of knowledge in the field of applied physics in accordance with the field of activity bases of practice; Professional information by the direction of the base's work practices; The student must be able to perform professional engineering and research work; draw conclusions based on work results; to present the results of work to professional and non-professional audiences.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Scientific and industrial practice is a mandatory component of the educational program, which finalizes the student's studies and provides for his prior mastery of the full volume of mandatory components and one of the blocks of the educational program's choice.
Course content
Scientific and industrial practice involves familiarization with the organization of work in a research institute or in the development department (design bureau) of the base enterprise practices, introducing students to the possibility of studying modern material and technical equipment used in the field of applied physics, mastering the skills of working with it and methods of conducting modern experimental research and computer modeling real devices and systems.
Recommended or required reading and other learning resources/tools
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The methodical management of the practice is entrusted to the graduate departments of: quantum radiophysics and nanoelectronics. The bases of the practice can be enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership, types of economic activity, organizational and legal status, which are legal entities and have been operating on the market for at least one year and carry out production, production and trade , intermediary and other activities. Students can offer the department a place of practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
The internship report, feedback from the place of internship (with the seal of the organization) are submitted to the graduation department after the internship for defense. The results of scientific and industrial practice are tallied when the student prepares a differentiated assessment. A point rating system for evaluating students' knowledge on a 100-point national scale is used to evaluate the completion of scientific and industrial practice.
