Successful completion of the course is possible with knowledge of general psychology, personality psychology, age psychology, physiology of higher nervous activity, psychological counseling, psychotherapy, social work with the family, methods of working with risk groups.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to master the knowledge and practical skills of social and pedagogical rehabilitation in the course of the educational process. Abstract of the academic discipline: The basic principles and set of research methods that provide analysis and criteria for determining rehabilitation technologies, forms of manifestation and psychological essence of deviant behavior are considered in the context of the following main issues: 1) socio-psychological and biological factors of rehabilitation; 2) structure of deviant behavior; diagnostic signs of the type of social maladaptation; 3) principles and conditions of pedagogical rehabilitation of deviant behavior; 4) forms and methods of rehabilitation work with deviants.

Assessment methods and criteria
test practical task discipline ends with a credit. During the semester, after completing the relevant topics, thematic written control works with open questions are conducted. For students who have not reached the minimum milestone level of assessment (60% of the maximum possible number of points) during the semester, the final semester control work is conducted, the maximum score for which can not exceed 40% of the final assessment (up to 40 points on a 100 – point scale). The condition for obtaining a positive final assessment in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points.
