PLO3. Search for information from various sources, including using information and communication technologies, to solve professional tasks. PLO4. Justify your own position, draw independent conclusions based on the results of your own research and analysis of literary sources. PLO5. Choose and apply valid and reliable psychodiagnostic tools (tests, questionnaires, projective methods, etc.) of psychological research and technologies of psychological assistance. PLO10. Formulate an opinion logically, accessible, discuss, defend one's position, modify statements in accordance with the cultural characteristics of the interlocutor. PLO13. Interact, enter into communication, be understandable, tolerant towards persons with other cultural or gender-age differences.

The student should know: psychological regularities of formation and development and self-development of personality, ethnopsychology, basics of social psychology, psychology of conflict; psychological features of effective communication and interpersonal interaction in the format of group work. The student must be able to: analyze scientific literature, independently create essays and video presentations.

The purpose of the discipline is to provide theoretical training and to form basic skills for the implementation of psychological support of the process of intercultural communication. The discipline is aimed at mastering the knowledge and skills of methodological, theoretical and applied problems of intercultural communication: normative child development in different countries, ethno-specific approaches to education and upbringing, problems of inter-ethnic interaction in the family, processes of tolerance and political correctness, problems of migrants and the process of socio-psychological adaptation . Much attention is paid to communication styles in different cultures, mediation, the latest communication technologies, techniques for solving intercultural conflicts in the form of business role-playing games, training exercises, cultural assimilators, creative written works and multimedia presentations.

Assessment is carried out throughout the semester of all types of work. 1. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additions - 24/14 points 2. Analytical report: – 24/14 points 3. Creative independent work: – 32/20 points 4. Final test work - 20/12 points The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60.
