Learning outcomes
The student should know: the principles of organizing the search and processing of technical information, classification, purpose, the principles of using modern methods of information protection in complex systems, the basics of development, manufacture, implementation and operation of technical hardware information protection. The student should be able to: organize and search for and process technical information, design, prepare and carry out engineering development using modern analytical, experimental and computer methods, independently acquire new knowledge, prepare materials for reports and publications.

The educational discipline "Actual problems of information protection" has a connection with the educational discipline disciplines "Models and construction of information protection systems", "Information support of systems information protection", as well as "Signal reception and processing", "Basics of security of information technologies", "Fundamentals of communication security", "Statistical radio engineering".
Course content
The discipline "Actual problems of telecommunications" contains materials related to the principles organization of search and processing of technical information, engineering design, preparation and conducting research using modern analytical, experimental and computer methods methods in the field of technical information protection, including in telecommunication networks and systems

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester evaluation: during the 2nd semester, 2 reports are provided at seminar classes based on the results of the students' industrial and research practice. During the 3rd semester, 3 reports at seminar classes are provided for the results of the thesis). A maximum of 60 points can be obtained in each semester. The final assessment is in the form of a credit: the form of credit is oral. In total, you can get from 0 to 40 points. A condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is receiving not less than 60 points, the credit score cannot be less than 24 points.
