1. Knowledge: basic concepts of scientific justifications and mechanisms of natural, technical, and social foundations of the modern worldview: knowledge of the history of science in general and understanding of modern scientific concepts in various fields of life: general awareness. 2. Possession of skills in analysis, critical thinking, tracking the cause-and-effect relationships of events.
Course content
The aim and objectives of the discipline are to acquire knowledge in the history of the development of science, as well as the formation and characteristics of the modern scientific image of the world.

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment (max. 100 points, min. 60 points): Control work (test): 50 points/ 30 points. Control work (test): 50 points/ 30 points. Final assessment in the form of credit. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The semester number of points is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of mastering the material on all topics of the content modules. A condition for obtaining a positive final grade for the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points. If the final total number of points is 60 or more, the applicant is awarded a pass.
